The McCaw's Waitsburg Remodel

John & Tarah McCaw decided to move into John’s grandparent’s home in Waitsburg. The home was built in the 1930’s. They wanted to restore the home’s original charm while updating it and creating the perfect home. Tarah shared some of their amazing before and after photos with us.

A photo of the home originally.                                     Early construction.
The home has been gutted and the original dormer has been recreated and the home now has a new roof.
Living Room Mid-Remodel

The remodel includes intricate custom tile throughout the home. Above are snapshots of the floor in two of the bathrooms. The showers, backsplashes, and powder room feature custom tiling as well.

As the remodel continues the house is starting to take shape with trim in place, primer, cabinets, and flooring.
The kitchen nearing completion.
The home has beautiful hardwood floors throughout. The color doesn't show perfectly above but the flooring is a warm color that showcases the large baseboards and crown molding throughout the home.

This home is just gorgeous! It is clear that every detail has been carefully selected and the end result, a modern home with farmhouse charm, is welcoming and warm. Here are some shots of the finished home:

The kitchen, living room, and dining room.
The kitchen includes two toned cabinets, an island prep sink, a farmhouse sink, high-end appliances, exposed beams and more.

The McCaw's home turned out beautifullly. All of the thoughtful details and farmhouse accents add a homey feel that is perfect for this family home.
